Poppy Seed Bread
3 cups flour
2 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/8 cups oil
1 1/2 each: poppy seeds, vanilla, almond flavoring, and butter flavoring
1. Mix in order and beat 2 minutes
2. Pour into greased pans (makes 2 regular loaves)
3. Bake at 350 for 1 hour
4. Glaze while hot.
Glaze:
Combine 3/4 cups sugar, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, and 1/4 cups orange juice in a saucepan and heat until bubbly on the edges.
